Emphasising the importance of these training camps, Enoh revealed plans for additional foreign training tours. Countries like Germany, Spain, Italy, and the US are being considered to provide Nigerian athletes with the best possible preparation. “The combination of domestic camping and foreign training tours is essential. It ensures our athletes are well-prepared and ready to compete at the highest level,” Enoh said during a meeting with sports federations. The comprehensive training program aims to surpass Nigeria’s best Olympic performance, achieved at the 1996 Atlanta Games. “Surpassing our best Olympic performance is a goal that we should target to meet. We must build on our past successes and strive for excellence in Paris 2024,” Enoh confirmed to NAN. The plan includes providing access to top-notch facilities and expert coaching, both within Nigeria and abroad. With 88 athletes already qualified, the focus is on ensuring they are in peak condition for the upcoming Games. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed.
